Meet the Doctor
Dr. Sandra Bennett graduated from OHSU School of Dentistry in 1997 with honors, receiving several awards for clinical excellence. Prior to dental school Dr. Bennett was a science teacher for the Hillsboro School District. She continued her passion for teaching by serving as a part time assistant professor at OHSU while starting her private practice in Gresham.
Dr. Bennett is dedicated to continuing education and has extensive hours expanding her skills in implantology, cosmetic dentistry, preventative dentistry and anxiety control techniques. She is a member of the ADA, ODA and AGD. Dr. Bennett regularly volunteers with Medical Teams International in their mobile dental clinic. She also participates with The National Dental Practice Based Research Network, involved in studies to improve dental health care nationwide.
Patients of Dr. Bennett notice her willingness and desire to fully explain their dental treatment options and educate them on their dental needs. You will often hear Dr. Bennett explaining treatment options saying “if you were my mom” or “if you were my brother” because she truly treats her patients as she would a family member.
Dr. Bennett is married and has a son. She enjoys the outdoors (on foot and on bike), crafts and spending time with her family.
